Admar Longo Jr

Admar Longo Jr holds a bachelor’s degree and a post-graduate (1995) degree in Systems Analysis from Universidade Mackenzie de São Paulo. He is a Technical Support Analyst at Division of Informatics and at the Laboratory of Biomedical Informatics, School of Medicine, USP. He has experience in the administration and support of big volumes of data, particularly images from the institutional PACS, as well as other systems and equipment used in performing and analyzing medical imaging exams. Additionally, he has long experience in support and standardization of processes in microinformatics.

Catharine de Vita Graves

Dr. Catharine de Vita Graves is graduated in Biomedical Engineering and in Science and Technology by Federal University of ABC (2016) and has a PhD from University of São Paulo in Electrical Engineering. She is a researcher at the Laboratory of Biomedical Informatics, School of Medicine, USP. She has experience in biological signal processing, medical image analysis, artificial intelligence, especially on deep learning tools for image processing.

Diego Armando Cardona Cardenas

Dr. Diego Armando Cardona Cardenas holds a degree in Bioengineering from the University of Antioquia (Colombia), M.Sc. and PhD (2018) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo. His research interests include medical image processing, pattern recognition, ultrasound tomography, biological signal processing and machine learning. He is a Researcher at the Laboratory of Biomedical Informatics of the Heart Institute, Clinics Hospital, University of São Paulo Medical School.

Douglas de Andrade de Almeida

Douglas Almeira is a Bachelor of Biomedicine from Nove de Julho University (UNINOVE) (2012-2015). He conducted scientific initiation in biochemistry at the UNINOVE Research Laboratory, Memorial Campus (2013), and at the Malacology Laboratory of the Butantan Institute (2015), focusing on Bioinformatics analyses, specifically Hepatitis C virus (HCV) phylogeny. He holds a Master’s degree in Sciences, with a focus on Virology and Bioinformatics, from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) (2016-2020). Currently, he works as a researcher at the Heart Institute of the São Paulo Hospital das Clínicas (InCor-HCFMUSP), in the area of Machine Learning applied to cardiac biomarker monitoring.

Felipe Meneguitti Dias

Felipe Dias graduated in electrical engineering with emphasis on electronic systems from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), with a one-year sandwich period at the Illinois Institute of Technology located in the city of Chicago in the United States. He carried out a project on the generation of visual and thermal three-dimensional models for electrical equipment using computer vision techniques. Additionally, he worked in the field of computer vision focusing on monitoring large structures (dams and slopes) at the Intelligent Robotics Group (GRIn) at UFJF. Currently, he is a doctoral student at the University of São Paulo (USP) and a researcher at the Heart Institute of the Hospital das Clínicas at the Faculty of Medicine of USP (InCor HC-FMUSP).
